TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Illinois State softball team closed out a 3-1 weekend Sunday with a 10-0 win in five innings over Idaho State at the Littlewood Classic in Tempe, Ariz.

Abby Olson homered, doubled and drove in three runs to lead the Redbirds (7-2) 10-hit attack. Elizabeth Kay also homered and plated a pair of runs while Lauren Kellar and Liz Andrews each chipped in two hits.

Jordan Birch (2-0) held Idaho State to one hit while striking out nine and walking only one.

The Redbirds next travel to the USF Tournament in Tampa, Fla. for five games Feb. 25-27.
