Diver honored again: Illinois State diver Wenting Zhang was selected as the Missouri Valley Conference Diver of the Week for the third time this season on Tuesday.

Zhang topped both the 1-meter (319.2) and 3-meter (333.3) events in the Redbirds’ 180-110 victory over Evansville.


Geraghty nets CCIW honor: IWU’s Declan Geraghty was named to the first team of the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin men’s soccer squads released Tuesday.

Geraghty, a senior defender, was among 12 first-team selections.


Red Devils’ kicker honored: Eureka College freshman kicker Tyler Winders has been selected as the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference Special Teams Player of the Week.

Winders kicked the game-winning 26-yard field goal with 18.9 second left to give the Red Devils a 17-14 victory over Crown on Saturday at McKinzie Field.
