The BNGSA Red Hots won two games of a tripleheader en route to a third-place finish at the National Softball Association state tournament Sunday in East Peoria.

Kathy Brown pitched a no-hitter through eight innings and Alaina Behrenbs hit the game-winning RBI in a 3-2 extra innings win over Charleston.

Following a 4-3 loss to the River Valley Rage, the Red Hots rebounded with a 3-0 win over ConXion fueled by Brown's nine-strikeout complete game.
