Lori Mackinson contributed 16 assists and 12 digs as Pontiac downed host Eureka, 25-20, 25-23, in a Corn Belt match. Pontiac (17-7) also received seven kills from Katie Legner and five kills and two blocks from Sydney Benning. Courtney Martin paced Eureka (9-13, 3-8) with seven kills, seven digs, six service points and two aces.
Tri-Valley surpasses GCMS: Kathy Brown dominated the service line with 18 points and seven aces to pace Tri-Valley to a 25-6, 25-12 Heart of Illinois Conference win over Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley at Downs. Lauryn Reiners added four kills and four blocks. Katrina Colclasure contributed nine assists.
Ridgeview foils Fieldcrest: Dusty Gleeson notched seven service points and 20 digs to lead Ridgeview (11-12, 5-6) to a 25-23, 25-16 win over Fieldcrest at Fieldcrest. Lauren Kellar added 20 digs for Ridgeview, while Kim Janssen led the way for Fieldcrest with 6 kills.
Dee-Mack beats Fisher: Sheila Grimm had 11 assists and Emily Siebert added 10 service points as Deer Creek-Mackinaw (16-11, 9-2) rallied for a 20-25, 25-18, 25-15 victory over host Fisher in a Heart of Illinois match. Kailey Roberts led Fisher (15-7, 6-5) with 13 digs, eight service points and seven kills.
Dwight downs Herscher: Dwight, behind 10 kills from Kolby Hoffman and 13 assists from Amie Hogan, beat Herscher, 25-22, 25-20 in a Interstate Eight Conference match at Herscher. Carly Perschnick added seven kills and seven service points for the Trojans (27-6, 7-1).
Illini Central defeats Porta: Illini Central's Jazmine Close recorded four aces, four digs and two kills, helping the Cougars blow past Petersburg Porta 25-18, 25-7 at Petersburg. Taylor Genseal led Illini Central in assists with 15 and Lauren Deiss added 11 digs.
Mount Pulaski tops Rochester: Jeri Kaye Turner had 10 assists while Haley Bowles and Kassi Schmidt added seven kills each as Mount Pulaski (14-8, 5-0) downed host Rochester, 25-23, 25-18 in a Sangamo Conference match.
Mahomet-Seymour loses: Rantoul turned back visiting Mahomet-Seymour, 25-22, 25-22, in a Corn Belt match. Mellissa McClain paced the Bulldogs with seven kills, four aces and two blocks, while Carson Heidbreder added 16 assists.
Iroquois West falls: Momence rallied to take a 22-25, 25-23, 25-16 victory in a Sangamon Valley Conference match at Momence. Riley Schroeder had seven kills, while Holly Pence added 19 digs and two aces for the Raiders.
Roanoke-Benson falls: Despite 11 assists from Sara Luginbuhl and eight kills by Hannah Knepp, Roanoke-Benson fell to Peru St. Bede, 26-24, 24-26, 25-23 in first-round action of the Tri-County Conference Tournament at Roanoke.
Clifton stops PBL: Kasey Sanders had five blocks and Amy Wells added six digs for PBL, but their efforts weren't enough as the Panthers fell to Clifton Central, 25-21, 25-21. Kelsey Stagen led PBL (8-12, 3-4) in kills with three, while Brittney Gehrt had four assists.
Clinton suffers loss: Tolono Unity handed Clinton a 25-14, 25-20 defeat. Jessica Smith paced the Maroons with 15 digs and three kills.
Jacksonville beats Lincoln: Emma Anderson and Hilary Hobler each had six kills as Lincoln fell to Jacksonville, 25-20, 25-15, in a Central State Eight match at Jacksonville. The Railers (11-14-1) also had 16 assists from Molly Goodrich.
Cornerstone takes win: Melissa Stalter recorded 11 service points, including three aces, to help Cornerstone Christian down Trinity Academy 25-22, 25-18 at Kankakee. Alyssa Jacobs also turned in a strong performance for the Cyclones, racking up 25 assists and four digs.
Calvary Baptist falls: Decatur Lutheran claimed a 25-15, 25-15 ECIC win over Calvary Baptist at Normal. Ashton Kamphuis led the Crusaders with five service points. Kaylie Bakalar had five assists.
