Junior center Dan Mays scored 16 points and handled eight rebounds as Flanagan-Cornell-Woodland defeated Lexington in overtime, 59-54, in a Heart of Illinois Conference game Friday night at Lexington.

Cody Schwerin added 12 points for the Warriors, who used a 10-5 run in the extra period to secure the win.

Michael Emberton paced Lexington with 16 points and four assists. Dylan Toon added 15 points and six rebounds while Sam Williamson collected a game-high nine boards for the Minutemen.

Baxter, Ropp lead Fieldcrest: Taylor Baxter scored a game-high 25 points and Nathan Ropp added 19 as Fieldcrest pulled away in the second half for a 60-45 victory over LeRoy in conference action at Minonk. Lee Weld chipped in 14 points for the Knights, who sank 11 3-pointers.

Ethan Bruning led LeRoy with 16 points. Matt Schopp and James Brent had 12 and 10 points, respectively, for the Panthers, who were held to 14 points in the second half after battling Fieldcrest to a 31-31 tie in the first half.

Balance keys Ridgeview win: Bradley Ghere led three Ridgeview players in double figures with 22 points as the Mustangs (13-2, 4-1) claimed a convincing 74-54 win over Fisher in league action at Colfax.

Mark Turner added 18 points and Derek Powell chipped in 16 for Ridgeview, which raced to a 41-20 lead by halftime. Fisher (6-9, 1-4) was led by Kam Mason's 16 points. Bryan Enos added 13 points and Jacob Browning had 11 for the Bunnies.

Tremont rolls past GCMS: Matt Workman netted 15 points and Eli Bontemps 13 as Tremont raced past Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley, 63-36, in a conference game at Tremont. Caleb Pflederer chipped in nine points for the Turks, who held leads of 35-19 at halftime and 55-31 after three quarters.

Bruce Hendricks was the lone GCMS player in double figures with 10 points. Michael Romshek and Tyler Buhs had eight each for the Falcons.

Clinton tops Shelbyville: Colin Duling and C.J. Bundy scored 18 points each as Clinton earned a 69-54 Okaw Conference win over Shelbyville at Clinton. Aaron Ennis added 12 points for the Maroons, who built leads of 32-19 by halftime and 50-31 by the end of three quarters to capture their first victory of the season.

Brownfield leads Illini Central: Cole Brownfield scored 20 points to help Illini Central top Williamsville 57-48 in a Sangamo Conference matchup at Mason City.

Illini Central trailed by four points at the half, but outscored Williamsville 38-25 in the game's final two quarters. Logan Frye had 11 points and Danny Harman added 10 for Illini Central.

Mount Pulaski tops Hartsburg-Emden: Kyle Titus scored 20 of his 26 points in the second quarter, helping Mount Pulaski beat Hartsburg-Emden 65-50 in a Tomahawk Conference game at Hartsburg.

Cory Titus added 18 points for Mount Pulaski, while David Neuendorf led Hartsburg-Emden with 12.

Trio powers Iroquois West: Angel Sanchez scored 19 points, Aaron Thomas added 14 and Austin Woo chipped in 10 as Iroquois West downed Tri-Point, 65-50, in Sangamon Valley Conference play at Cullom. The Raiders used a 26-12 third-quarter run to pull away from the Chargers.

Tri-Point was led by Danny Olson with 11 points.

Streator falls to Geneseo: Connor Armstrong had 11 points, but couldn't help Streator top Geneseo on the road, as the Bulldogs fell 55-45. J.J. Cravatta added 10 points for Streator.

Calvary's Touma nets career-high: Grant Touma poured in a game-high 43 points, including a 17-of-23 performance from the foul stripe, to lead Calvary Baptist past Judah Christian, 77-61, in a ECIC game at Champaign.

Josh McCorkle added 17 points for Calvary Baptist, which made 25 of 40 foul shots overall in the contest. The Crusaders (5-7, 3-0) used a 25-8 run in the second quarter to take a 39-24 advantage by halftime and were never threatened in the second half. Matthew Jarrett led Judah Christian (3-11, 2-1) with 19 points.

CPCI rallies for win: Harrison Seggebruch scored 13 points and Derek Wengert added 11 as CPCI posted a 46-44 come-from-behind nonconference win over host Donovan. Ben Hicks scored a game-high 19 points to lead Donovan.

Reynero leads Woodland: Jake Reynero netted 20 points, including four 3-point buckets, to pace Woodland to a 63-58 Tri-county Conference win over St. Bede at South Streator.

Matt Hays added 11 points for the Warriors (10-4, 3-1), who trailed St. Bede 45-41 at the end of the third quarter.

Lincoln routs Sacred Heart-Griffin: Four players scored in double digits for Lincoln as the Railsplitters downed Sacred Heart-Griffin 60-42 at Springfield. Louie Schonauer led Lincoln with 13 points and Ben Brackney tacked on 12.

Lincoln (10-3) led 45-15 at the end of the third quarter, before allowing Sacred Heart-Griffin to score 27 in the game's final quarter.

PBL cruises: Kendall Cox led three players in doubles figures and Paxton-Buckley-Loda used a 27-point second- quarter outburst to roll to a 72-54 Sangamon Valley Conference win over host Rantoul. Tyler Waterstradt and Austin Wood chipped in 10 points each for the Panthers (12-1, 2-0). Drew Watts scored 22 points to lead Watseka (9-4, 2-1).

Delavan loses to Havana: Delavan's Brady Zimmer returned from a bout with mono to score 17 points off the bench, but his performance wasn't enough to lift the Panthers to victory, as Delavan fell to Havana 50-41 at Havana. Mark Lessen added 12 points for Delavan.
