Justin Myers scored 26 points to lead top-seeded and No. 7 state-ranked Ridgeview High School past Grant Park, 66-47, Friday night in the championship game of the Class 1A Woodland Regional at South Streator.
Jacob Donaldson added 15 points and Alex Tongate scored 11 for the Mustangs (26-4). Ridgeview led 25-20 at the half before stretching the margin to 44-31 after three quarters.
The Mustangs advanced to play Decatur Lutheran in the Danville Schlarman Sectional at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Monticello 45, GCMS 43: Benton Singleton scored with .8 seconds remaining to lift No. 5 state-ranked Monticello to the win in the championship game of the Class 2A Hoopeston Area Regional at Hoopeston.
Singleton scored all four of Monticello's fourth-quarter points after earlier drilling three 3's en route to a game-high 17 points. Calvin Fisher added 10 for the Sages, who advanced to face St. Joseph-ogden in next week's Maroa-Forsyth Sectional.
Ben Freehill led three GCMS players in double figures with 13 points. Connor Birky added 12 and Bryce Barnes 11.
The Falcons had a 25-23 halftime lead before Monticello outscored them 18-10 in the third quarter and held on for the victory.
Dee-Mack 45, Farmington 44: Dawson Jones scored 14 points as Deer Creek-Mackinaw slipped past Farmington in the championship game of the Class 2A Knoxville Regional.
Levi Scheuermann added 13 points for the Dee-Mack (24-6), which will play Williamsville at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Farmington Sectional.
Clinton 58, Prairie Central 49: Chase Reynolds scored 13 points as Clinton turned back Prairie Central in a nonconference game at Clinton. The Maroons (14-11) hit 18 of 23 free throws. Prairie Central (8-18) received 11 points from Wyatt Steidinger.
Herscher 60, Pontiac 51: Carter Dawson tallied 17 points and Ryan Weir 13 for Pontiac in a nonconference loss at Herscher (17-8).
Tyler Jarnagin had 20 points for the Tigers while Tyler Stuart added 17.
Decatur Lutheran 69, Mount Pulaski 60: Peyton Taylor scored 15 points, Brandon Kretzinger 13 and Gezus Oliver 12 for Mount Pulaski (21-8), which lost in the Class 1A Decatur Lutheran Regional final.
Decatur Lutheran received 21 points from Ezra School.
