Trey Wilson scored 26 points Tuesday night to lead Olympia High School to a 66-55 nonconference basketball victory over Notre Dame De La Salette Academy at Stanford.

Mason Marquis and Blake Stine added 12 points each for the Spartans (3-1) in their home opener. Olympia led 32-22 at the half.

Prairie Central 54, Watseka 52: The Hawks rallied from a 43-38 third quarter deficit to claim a nonconference victory at Watseka. Jake Bachtold led with 11 points and Wyatt Steidinger added 10.

Heyworth 85, Maroa-Forsyth 59: Tate Eller's 28 points led three Heyworth players in double figures as the Hornets won at Heyworth. Jeremy Witten added 21 points for Heyworth, with Alex Cilento contributing 17.

LeRoy 61, Argenta-Oreana 33: Nick Perry scored a game-high 23 points to lead the Panthers in a nonconference game at LeRoy. LeRoy held Argenta to to 11 second-half points.

Tri-Point 47, Lexington 46: Jacob Carrera scored 17 points for Tri-Point and Randall Ifft added 15 as the Chargers edged the Minutemen at Cullom. Adam Baillie scored 11 points for Lexington. Tate Walcott added 10.

Eureka 41, Peoria Christian 32: Keith Walder's 12 points led Eureka to the nonconference victory at Peoria. Alex Brittain added seven points for the Hornets. Will Pepper had 18 for Peoria Christian.

LaMoille 52, Woodland 50: Woodland led at each of the quarter breaks before being overtaken in the loss at LaMoille. Junior guard Kyle Voytko led the Warriors with 15 points and Chandler Hillebrenner added 14.

Calvary 51, Decatur Christian 25: Calvary opened the second half with a 16-0 scoring run and cruised to the win at Decatur. Isaac Orns had 18 points and 11 rebounds for the Knights.

Mount Pulaski 62, Warrensburg-Latham 56: Gezus Oliver and Peyton Taylor each scored 19 points as the Hilltoppers improved to 4-1 with a nonconference win at Warrensburg.


Normal West 63, Pekin 30: Ayanna Gibbs had 12 points and eight rebounds to pace Normal West to the nonconference win at Pekin. Olivia Demosthenes added 11 points for the Wildcats (4-2), while Tresoir Newson had nine points and five steals. Whitney Bozarth also had nine points.

Washington 37, U High 28: Olivia Damery and Sierra Sonnemaker scored 11 points apiece in leading Washington to a nonconference win over University High in Normal. Kassidy Patton and Cheyenne Petersen scored eight points apiece to pace the Pioneers (0-5).

Metamora 54, BHS 35: Bloomington dropped a nonconference contest at Metamora. No other information was reported. 

FCW 44, Pontiac 36: Jaydn Mitchell scored 29 points to lead Flanagan-Cornell-Woodland to a nonconference win at Flanagan. Mitchell scored 13 points in the fourth quarter as the Falcons outscored Pontiac 20-8.

Newark 61, Dwight 37: Chloe Butterbrodt led Dwight with eight points in the nonconference loss at Newark. Leah Flynn added nine rebounds and six steals for the Trojans.

Heyworth 59, Clinton 45: Heyworth outscored Clinton 16-5 in the fourth quarter to pull away to the win. Stephanie Brown had 17 points for the Hornets with Chassidy Hays adding 14. Alyssa Saulsbery and Madison Filkin led Clinton with 14 and 13 points respectively.
