Central Catholic High School juniors Lauren Shanks and Bailey Coffman were selected to the all-Illini Prairie Conference girls basketball first team, it was announced Thursday.

Shanks, who was the only unanimous selection, and Coffman were joined on the first team by Monticello's Tatum McCall and Zana Myers; Bree Trimble and Peyton Crowe of St. Joseph-Ogden; and NaKaya Hughes of St. Thomas More.

Central Catholic freshman Abbey Davis was part of the second team along with Olympia sophomore Colby Burt, Pontiac freshman Addison Masching and Prairie Central senior Olivia Weber.

Area players who were honorable mention were freshman Katie Steinman of Central Catholic and Prairie Central sophomore Elly Haberkorn.
