NORMAL — Kiara Lewis scored 20 points and Khaalia Hillsman grabbed 13 rebounds as Chicago Whitney Young beat Rolling Meadows 60-44 on Saturday night at Redbird Arena to win the girls Class 4A state championship.

Madinah Muhammad added 16 points and Hillsman 10 for the Dolphins (32-3). Whitney Young finished third last year and won it all in 2012.

Jenny Vliet scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for the Mustangs (29-5), while Alexis Glasgow added 10. Glasgow played the game wearing a clear plastic mask to protect a broken nose she suffered in the super sectional earlier this week.

Rolling Meadows took second place last year.

Chicago Heights Marian 45, Geneva 34: Ashton Millender scored 16 points to lead Chicago Heights Marian Catholic past Geneva to take third place.

Marian Catholic (28-5) took the lead on the first possession of the game and never relinquished it. Gabrielle Coo-per added 10 points for the Spartans, while Millender grabbed seven rebounds.

The Vikings were led by Abby Novak’s 13 points, while 6-2 freshman center Grace Loberg grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds.
