Bryce Barnes scored 18 points to lead Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley High School's basketball team to a 56-41 Heart of Illinois Conference vicitory over Fieldcrest on Tuesday night at Minonk.

Ryland Holt and Connor Birky added 12 points each for GCMS (19-3, 8-1), while Holt led in rebounds with 13.

Jaxon Cusac-McKay paced Fieldcest (13-9, 4-5) with 16 points and four assists.

Deer Creek-Mackinaw 58, Blue Ridge 33: Dawson Jones scored 17 points to lead a balanced Dee-Mack attack in an HOIC win at Mackinaw. Zach Stephens scored nine points for Blue Ridge.

Flanagan-Cornell 55, Fisher 54: Jeremy Durdan scored 25 points to lead the Falcons to a Heart of Illinois Conference win at Flanagan. Flanagan outscored Fisher 21-7 in the third quarter to overcome an early double-digit deficit. Senior guard Kade Thomas had 23 points for the Bunnies.

Tremont 65, Eureka 46: Luke Barrow buried three 3-pointers and scored 15 points to lead the visiting Turks to the win. Titus Thompson added 13 points for Tremont. Keegan Zimmerman led Eureka with 11 points with Keith Walder contributing 10.

Ridgeview 58, Roanoke-Benson 50: Jacob Donaldson had 21 points and 11 rebounds to lead Ridgeview to the nonconference win at Roanoke. Justin Myers also scored 21 for Ridgeview (20-3).

Trent Weldon had 14 points to lead Roanoke-Benson (13-8). He also shared team high rebound honors with Jake Weber with eight.

Tri-Valley 56, Prairie Central 43: Clayton Leipold scored 16 points for Tri-Valley, which stretched a nine-point halftime lead into a 20-point cushion heading into the fourth quarter. Keegan Stein led host Prairie Central with nine points.

Cornerstone 69, Tri-Point 62: Bo Blakemore scored a career-high 22 points as Cornerstone Christian posted the nonconference home win. Joe Kaufman and Cassidy Jean added 14 each and Zack Wolf scored 11 for Cornerstone (11-9). Tri-Point (9-13) was led by Mark Miller with 16.

Calvary Christian 70, DeLand-Weldon 21: Bryant Sturgill led Calvary Christian with 30 points to surpass 1,000 in his career as the Knights won at Normal. Isaac Orns added 14 points and Chayton Gearhart had 13.

IVC 67, Olympia 51: Kam Wollard led four players in double figures with 14 points as IVC posted the Illini Prairie Conference win over Olympia at Chillicothe. Olympia was paced by Issac Riegler with 13 points and Blake Stine with 12.

Mount Pulaski 62, Tri-City 36: Gezus Oliver led the host Hilltoppers with 22 points. Seth Huff added 14 for Mount Pulaski (17-5), which connected on nine 3-pointers.

Delavan 61, Illini Central 58: Joey Matthews netted 23 points for Delavan in the Panthers' victory at Mason City. Race Damm had a game-high 29 points for Illini Central.

St. Teresa 54, Clinton 36: Austin Baker finished with 10 points for Clinton, which dropped its Central Illinois Conference Tournament semifinal to St. Teresa at Tuscola. The Maroons will play the host Warriors in Friday's third place games.


Lexington 47, Flanagan-Cornell-Woodland 38: Lexington outscored the host Falcons 9-0 in overtime to secure a Heart of Illinois Conference win. Jayden Standish scored 10 of her game-high 22 points in the fourth quarter to help the Minutemen overcome an 11-point third quarter deficit and send the game to overtime. Layken McGuire added 13 for Lexington.

Jaydn Mitchell scored 18 points for FCW with Liberty Vollmer adding 11.

GCMS 41, Tri-Point 26: Claire Retherford scored 14 points in the Falcons' nonconference win at Cullom. Sierra Hummel led Tri-Point with nine points.

Tolono Unity 66, Olympia 33: Sophomore Colby Burt led Olymia with 13 points in the Spartans' Illini Prairie Conference loss at Tolono. Elyce Knudsen had 21 points, seven rebounds and three assists for Unity.

Dwight 45, Wilmington 34: Kayla Kodat had 11 points and six rebounds for the Trojans (12-9) in their nonconference win at Dwight.

Decatur St. Teresa 69, Mount Pulaski 55: Skylar Hayes scored 16 points for the Hilltoppers in a nonconference loss at Decatur.
