Bryce Barnes scored 20 points and Ryland Holt 15 Tuesday night to key a Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley High School to a 79-55 victory over LeRoy in Heart of Illinois Conference action at Gibson City.
Mitch McNutt added 13 points and Connor Birky 11 for the Falcons. LeRoy received a team-high 17 points from Nick Perry, and Skye Gillespie had nine.
Fieldcrest 50, Eureka 38: Jaxon Cusac-McKay's 15 points and 11 from Hayden Carls helped Fieldcrest get past Eureka at Eureka.
Brady Krile topped the Hornets with 15 points.
Flanagan-Cornell 49, Roanoke-Benson 46: Jeremy Durdan paced Flanagan-Cornell with 21 points and Karson Kimpling chipped in nine as the Falcons claimed a nonconference triumph at Flanagan.
Jordan Huschen scored 20 points and Jake Weber 14 for the Rockets.
Woodland 52, Lexington 46: Kyle Voytko recorded 26 points and Collin Hjerpe 11 for Woodland in a victory at Lexington.
Tyler Grimsley topped the Minutemen with 11 points.
Fisher 67, Tri-Valley 65, OT: Kade Thomas scored 24 points and Jaden Jones-Watkins added 18 as Fisher slipped past Tri-Valley in an HOIC game at Downs. Ryan Meents chipped in 11 for Fisher.
Tri-Valley was led by Clayton Leipold with 20 points.
Dee-Mack 59, El Paso-Gridley 36: Dee-Mack outscored EPG 18-3 in the second quarter to grab a 37-16 halftime lead en route to a Heart of Illinois Conference win at Mackinaw.
The Chiefs had four players in double figures with Dawson Jones leading the way with 14 points. Levi Scheuermann added 13 with Caden Slack and Neal Scheuermann each contributing 12.
Teron Fairchild led EPG with 12 points.
IVC 67, Prairie Central 43: IVC grabbed a 23-7 first quarter lead and cruised to an Illini Prairie Conference win at Chillicothe. Prairie Central received 13 points for Eddie Shumaker. Holt Geltmaker had a game-high 21 points for IVC.
Pontiac 72, Olympia 54: Sophomore Ryan Weir netted 26 points to lead the Indians to an Illini Prairie Conference win at Pontiac. Dalton Spencer paced Olympia with 16 points. Mason Marquis added 13 for the Spartans.
Bradley Bourbonnais 49, NCHS 48: Bradley Bourbonnais took the lead with two free throws with 20 seconds left and held on to edge Normal Community in the Class 4A Bradley Bourbonnais Regional semifinals at Bradley.
Summer Stoewer had 16 points and six rebounds to lead second-seeded NCHS, which ended with a 23-7 record. Mya Wong had a team-high 10 assists and Caelyn Steffens five steals for NCHS.
"I'm very proud of the girls. You can't justify your season off of one game," NCHS coach Marcus Mann said. "We know we did a lot more work than this one last game. We took a lot of steps and played a lot of great competition and battled hard."
West 66, Peoria High 49: Ayanna Gibbs scored 14 points to lead sixth-seeded Normal West past No. 4 seed Peoria High in the Class 4A Pekin Regional semifinals at Pekin.
Olivia Demosthenes added 11 points for West (18-9), while Arie Sims and Tresoir had 10 each. Newson led the Wildcats in rebounds with seven. West meets top-seeded Rock Island for the title at 7 p.m. Friday.
