Each of the six Pantagraph area high school teams still alive in the state football playoffs will have Saturday games in the second round.

Class 7A No. 2 seed Normal Community (10-0) will face No. 18 seed Chicago Mount Carmel (7-3) at noon at Chicago's Gately Stadium.

In Class 6A, No. 5 seed Normal West (8-2) plays at 13th-seeded New Lenox Providence (6-4) at 2 p.m. 

Central Catholic (9-1), a No. 7 seed in Class 3A, also will play at 2 p.m. against second-seeded Williamsville (10-0) at Williamsville.

Three Heart of Illinois Conference teams remain alive in Class 2A.

No. 2 seed Gibson-City-Melvin-Sibley (10-0) travels to No. 10 Savanna West Carroll (7-3) at 2 p.m., while third-seeded Tri-Valley (9-1) takes on No. 6 seed Shelbyville (8-2) at 1 p.m. at Downs. No. 14 seed El Paso-Gridley (6-4) will play host to No. 6 Knoxville (8-2) at 1 p.m. at El Paso.
