Three Pantagraph area stars — University High School's Nathan Clay, Normal Community's Josef Halcomb and Normal West's Jordan Walker — have earned all-state honors from the Illinois High School Soccer Coaches Association. 

Ten other area stars received all-sectional recognition at the IHSCA's banquet in Elmhurst on Thursday. They include U High's J.D. Kelley, Christian Lopez and Cayden Redd. 

Other all-sectional picks were Griffin Bruso and Brady Fletcher of NCHS, Clayton Davis and Parker Theobald of Normal West, Ryan Flynn of Bloomington, James McBride of Cornerstone Christian and Landon Magenheimer of Blue Ridge. 

Bruso also was named to the Chicago Fire All-State All-Academic third team while teammate Garrett Staver earned honorable mention. 

Seven area standouts earned all-sectional honorable mention including Cornerstone's Moses Kabuswe and Brian Matipa, Roanoke-Benson's Ashton Hubert and Hunter Miller, Central Catholic's Noah Bevilacqua, Bloomington's Brian Jome and Calvary Christian's Bryant Sturgill. 

The Section 8 sportsmanship award went to Roanoke-Benson.
