Intercity Swim Meet

When: 5 p.m. Tuesday at Normal West High School

FYI: University High, which last won this meet in 2014, finished ahead of reigning champion Normal Community and 2015 champion Normal West in the Peoria Notre Dame Invitational. Reigning 50 free champion Colton Stogner of U High is the top seed in that event (21.61) and the 100 free (46.88). Other top-seeded Pioneers are Anthony Williamson in the 200 free (1:46.97), Harrison Fudge in the 100 breaststroke (1:00.44) and Kyle Johnson in the 500 free (4:56.78). Fudge is the defending breaststroke champion. U High is favored to sweep the relays. Reid Byers of BHS owns area-placing marks as the top seed in the 200 IM (1:57.89) and 100 back (52.81). Returning champion Gus Jumonville of Bloomington is the top-seeded diver with a school-record score of 285.45 points, the third best mark in Pantagraph area history. Rounding out the favorites is Normal West's Ben Rutledge in the 100 fly (56.69).
