Carson Smalley notched team-highs of eight kills and 11 digs as No. 2 seed Deer Creek-Mackinaw High School won the McLean County/Heart of Illinois Conference Volleyball Tournament with a two-set triumph over Lexington on Saturday in Mackinaw.

Morgan Burr had 11 assists and Shelby DeBolt added nine for the Chiefs (26-6-1), who finished off their run to the title with a 25-21, 25-23 victory. Madelyne Smith added three blocks, Faith McGinness notched three aces and Lydia Wiegand chipped in seven assists for Dee-Mack.

Jayden Standish had six kills, Emma White 16 assists and Raelyn Payne 12 digs for Lexington (26-7).

Eureka takes third: Hailey Flowers' 14 kills helped top-seeded Eureka (26-7) capture third place with a 27-25, 25-23 win over Tri-Valley. Maddie McCunn had 22 assists and Courtney Heffren 12 digs.

Hannah Clayton had 11 kills and Ryleigh Warfel 10 for the No. 3 Vikings (25-5). Lauren Gilmore registered 26 assists while Alex Anderson and Regan Danko had 10 digs apiece.

Heyworth secures fifth: Fifth-seeded Heyworth posted a 25-17, 25-18 victory over Flanagan-Cornell-Woodland for fifth place.

Haley Sieg led the Hornets with 11 kills and 10 digs. Amber Tomlin had 22 assists. McKenna Roth had six kills for FCW (15-13-1).

Blue Ridge wins consolation title: Blue Ridge (23-9) downed El Paso-Gridley (14-12) in the consolation championship match, 26-24, 25-12.

Maddie Hopkins paced No. 9 seed Blue Ridge with 13 kills while Avery Fisher had 22 assists. Hannah Brackenhoff chipped in 11 digs and Liz Bowns had 12 serviced points.

Kayleigh Delaney led the No. 10-seeded Titans with eight kills while Cheyenne Carr had 17 assists and two blocks. Ashlyn Stone added 14 digs and six service points.

Flanagan wins: In the fifth-place bracket semifinals, Flanagan-Cornell (15-12-1) won 25-22, 19-25, 15-11 over No. 7 seed Tremont.

Liberty Vollmer led the No. 6 seed Falcons with 12 assists and 12 digs while McKenna Roth had five kills and Kayla VanWeelden two blocks.

Heyworth prevails: In a fifth-place bracket semifinal, Heyworth received 24 assists from Tomlin while Sieg provided 11 kills and 14 digs in a 25-19, 21-25, 15-11 win over No. 8 seed Fieldcrest.

Lexi Jochums had 11 assists and 1.5 blocks for Fieldcrest, which got seven kills from Emma Peterson and 16 digs from Madi Hock.
