NORMAN, Okla. - Sarah Rousey of Bloomington eliminated the world's top-ranked player, Allison Fisher, from this weekend's Women's Professional Billiards Association U.S. Open 9 Ball Championships on her way to a top-32 finish.

Rousey downed Fisher 9-8 on Friday in a losers bracket match to send Fisher home in 49th place. The loss likely will cost Fisher her No. 1 ranking for the season.

Rousey went on to defeat Liz Ford 9-7 before being eliminated by a 9-8 loss to Tiffany Nelson.

The tournament concludes Sunday.
