EVANSVILLE, Ind. — The Normal CornBelters won their fifth consecutive game with a 7-5 decision over the Evansville Otters in Frontier League action on Tuesday.

Nolan Meadows stroked his 10th home run of the season while going 3-for-5 at the plate for the Belters (47-45), who did most of their damage during a five-run seventh inning.

Yeixon Ruiz also had two of Normal's eight hits. Starter Charlie Gillies (7-9) got the win after striking out five and walking five over seven innings. He scattered four hits. 

Normal reliever Francisco Carrillo picked up his third save.
