YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio — The Central Illinois Flying Aces scored two late goals to force overtime Tuesday night, but fell in the extra period to the Youngstown Phantoms, 5-4, in United States Hockey League action at the Covelli Centre.

Late third-period goals by the Aces' Bradley Marek and Calen Kiefiuk pulled Central Illinois even at 4-4. Youngstown got the game-winner on a goal by Tommy Perrottino at 3:00 of the first overtime.

Kiefiuk and Jamie Armstrong had scored earlier in the game for the Aces, who had 42 shots on goal to 26 for Youngstown.

Central Illinois goalie Ryan Snowden had 21 saves. Wouter Peeters made 38 saves for Youngstown.
