Twin Cities club wins five gold medals: Bloomington-Normal’s Twin Cities Judo Club won five gold medals in the Gateway Invitational at St. Louis. Korbin Anderson won golds in the 15-16 division and in the adult middleweight division. Also winning gold were Nicholas Bruha (7-8 lightweight division), Zach Marvel (9-10 heavyweight) and Alex Marvel (13-14 middleweight). There were more than 150 competitors from five states.
Judd earns McLean County Seniors top award: Morrie Judd won the medalist medallion for the McLean County Seniors Golf Association with a season low gross of 76.19 strokes. Other awards went to Mike Nalewajka, Hancock Award for in-county low gross (76.67); Dave Overholt, Presidents Award for in-county low net (68.67); Larry Spencer, Cogdal Award for out-of-county low gross (77.40); Jim Stahly, Presidents Award for out-of-county low net (76.90); and Fred Stielow and Ken Wagoner for perfect attendance.
