25 years ago (1993): Junior center Chris Eaton led the way with 22 points and 13 rebounds as Eureka College rallied in the second half to beat Tarleton State, 63-54, in the second round of the NAIA Division II national tournament in Nampa, Idaho.
50 years ago (1968): Former Illinois State student Lori Schutt, who is now working toward a master’s degree at Illinois, can represent the United States in the International Women’s Cross Country Championships in Blackburn, England. Unfortunately, the AAU has informed Schutt that she must come up with $700 to pay her own way.
