The results of a contracted reorganization feasibility study between Roanoke-Benson District 60 and Congerville, Eureka, Goodfield District 140 is expected to be presented to both boards at a joint meeting at the end of February.
Each board is working on setting a date that will conflict as little as possible with other governmental meetings. It will be held in the Eureka High School auditorium.
R-B Superintendent Rohn Peterson told the school board Thursday night he and District 140 Superintendent Bob Bardwell recently went to Springfield to consult with facilitator Midwest School Consultants on the progress of the report.
“It was a good meeting,” Peterson said. “We got some questions answered.”
MSC has been gathering information and analyzing it since September, but is still waiting on financial information that includes the amount of possible monetary incentives from the state. They are also still clarifying some levy rate projections and recommendations and discussing different scenarios for possible school configurations.
