EUREKA – Roy E. Schrock, 93, died at 5:15 p.m., Sunday Nov. 26, 2017, at the Apostolic Christian Home of Eureka.
He was born Nov. 18, 1924, in Congerville, the son of Jesse and Lillian Welk Schrock. He married Pearl “Polly” Marti on Aug. 6, 1950, in Lamar, Mo. She died Dec. 24, 2015, in Carlock.
Survivors include one son, Chuck (Diane) Schrock, Congerville; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Mel (Nola) Schrock, Elgin and Don (Lorna) Schrock, Morton and one son-in-law, Mark Wuthrich, Morton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Cheryl Wuthrich.
Roy served in the Army during World War II. He farmed in the Congerville area most of his life. Roy was a member of the Congerville AC Church, Congerville.
Services will take place Thursday at 10 a.m. at the church with ministers of the church officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka and Thursday morning from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow the service in the Goodfield/Congerville AC Cemetery, rural Congeville.
