Richland Community College seeks an innovative and thoughtful Vice President of Student Success who will enhance its student-centered focus and continue its tradition of academic excellence and high level of involvement in the community.
The Vice President of Student Success must have strong interpersonal and communication skills,
as well as solid collaboration and consensus-building skills. Through strong talent management,
the Vice President must build an enrollment management team that can create a positive student
experience from initial recruitment through graduation.
The position requires a Master’s degree in educational administration, student personnel or a related field. A Doctorate degree is preferred. The position requires at least three years of related
experience, preferably within higher education.


The Director of Institutional Effectiveness is responsible for developing, supporting, and sustaining Richland Community College’s institutional effectiveness accountability system, which will
consist of an institutional dashboard and scorecard, division and program scorecards, and a faculty metrics toolbox. The Director will provide college-wide leadership and oversight of research
and analysis to support student success, institutional effectiveness, and continuous quality
improvement initiatives at the College. This position is a senior-level cabinet position reporting
directly to the President of the College.
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in an area relevant to organizational assessment and
research, such as higher education, public policy, business administration, industrial psychology
or sociology, and 3 to 5 years of experience in higher education, preferably within a community
college. A Master’s degree is preferred.
