Twin City Culver's closed for remodel
BLOOMINGTON – The Culver’s in east Bloomington is closed through Thursday to complete a $250,000 remodeling project.
The restaurant, 901 N. Hershey Road, will get a floor-to-ceiling revamp of its dining room, as well as updates to its restrooms and front counter area as part of the project.
The eatery, known for its ButterBurgers and frozen custard, opened in 2001 and updates are typically done every 10 to 15 years, according to owner Bret Freistedt.
Regular hours resume Friday, and no menu changes are planned.
The Twin City’s other Culver’s location, 1807 W. Market St., Bloomington, will be open as usual this week.
