BLOOMINGTON — Einstein Bros. Bagels and Caribou Coffeehouse are now under one roof in the Twin Cities.

After years of brewing its own in-house coffee, Einstein Bros. Bagels "has truly found its better half" with Caribou Coffee, said EBB in announcing its partnership with the craft coffee company.

“Coffee lovers in the Bloomington region rejoice … now you can enjoy premium coffee with premium bagels,” Caribou Coffee President John Butcher said in an announcement statement.

Mini Caribou Coffeehouses opened Wednesday at Einstein Bros. Bagels, 1401 N. Veterans Parkway, Lakewood Plaza, Bloomington, and Bone Student Center at Illinois State University, Normal.

Additional Einstein locations across the the country will begin brewing Caribou Coffee in the coming weeks.

"Good coffee is important to our guests. The introduction of the Caribou Coffee brand into Einstein Bros. Bagels is just another way for us to bring quality menu items to our guests,” said Einstein Bros. Bagels President Leigh Anne Snider. “Now you don’t have to choose between a great coffee experience and a great breakfast sandwich; you can have both.”

Caribou Coffee uses 100 percent Rainforest Alliance certified beans that are craft roasted in small batches.

Einstein Bros. serves fresh bagels in several flavors, sandwiches, desserts and coffee and is open for breakfast, lunch and catering.
