Marine Bank names new directors
SPRINGFIELD — Two new members have joined the Marine Bank Board of Directors.
Jenny H. Park is a shareholder at the law firm Meyer Capel in Champaign, where she has practiced since 2002. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a juris doctorate from the Indiana University School of Law. Park's practice is concentrated in commercial and residential real estate and land use and development law. She is a member of the Illinois and Indiana State Bar associations, as well as the Champaign County Bar Association. Park also serves on the board of the YMCA. Away from the practice, she enjoys attending symphonies and theatrical performances and participating in sports, especially tennis, running and golf.

Robert W. Kay is a CPA who recently retired after a long and successful career in hospital administration. In March, Kay retired after 18 years as chief financial officer of Memorial Health System. In his role at the health system, he was responsible for external reporting, risk management, general accounting and financial planning. Kay earned a master of science degree with an emphasis on finance from the University of Texas at Dallas and a bachelor of science degree with an accounting emphasis from the University of Missouri at Columbia. In addition to being a Certified Public Accountant, Bob was a previous fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.
Marine Bank is headquartered in Springfield, and has 12 locations throughout Springfield, Bloomington, Champaign, Rushville and Macomb. The bank was started in 1993 and has grown to more than $640 million in assets and 200 employees.
