BLOOMINGTON — Representatives of Mid Central Community Action will visit McLean and Livingston County communities to take applications for Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program.

The LIHEAP program helps to pay gas heat and electric bills for households that have incomes equal to or less than 150 percent of the federal poverty level. More details on eligibility requirements are on www.mccainc.org.
Representatives will be available in Livingston County from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Saunemin Community Building; 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, Reading Township Hall; 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Nov. 12, Dwight Gothic Church; 8-11:30 a.m. Nov. 13, Livingston County Housing Authority, Chatsworth; 12:30-4 p.m. Nov. 13, Fairbury City Hall; and 1-4 p.m. Nov. 18, Odell Public Library.
In McLean County, meetings will be 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at LeRoy-Crumbaugh Library; 12:30-4 p.m. Nov. 8, Heartland Bank, Chenoa; noon-4 p.m. Nov. 11, Heyworth Public Library; 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Nov. 15, Colfax Village Hall; and 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Nov. 20, Lexington City Hall.
