Kording, Heyman named Emerging Lawyers
BLOOMINGTON — Scott Kording and Forrest Heyman, both of Meyer Capel, a professional corporation, have been selected for the 2018 Emerging Lawyers award.
Each year, Law Bulletin Publishing Company’s Leading Lawyers division selects, by peer review, top lawyers who are age 40 or younger (or have been admitted to the practice of law for 10 or fewer years) and who have proven themselves professional, ethical, and experienced at an early point in their legal career. Less than 2 percent of all lawyers licensed in Illinois receive the Emerging Lawyer distinction.
Kording works from Meyer Capel’s office in Bloomington and was selected as an emerging lawyer in the category of criminal defense law: felonies and misdemeanors. Heyman works from Meyer Capel’s office in Champaign and was selected as an emerging lawyer in the categories of trust, will and estate planning law and closely and privately held business law.
