Jeremiah Aeschleman

Colonel Jeremiah Aeschleman graduated from the Army College of Carlisle Barracks in Carlisle, Pa., on June 7. He obtain a master's degree in strategic studies. Aeschleman is the son of Arnie and Sigrid Aeschleman of Normal and Connie and Jerry Lambert of Flossmoor.

He is a 1992 graduate of Roanoke-Benson High School and holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry and a master's degree in metallurgical chemistry both from Eastern Illinois University in Charleston. Aeschleman served a tour of duty during the Iraqi War. He and his wife, Christi, and their children have moved to Manassas Va., where Aeschleman will begin a post as a senior military advisor to the Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for combating weapons of mass destruction.
