EUREKA - The District 140 school board has multiple options for possible upgrades and improvements to its facilities in the future,
At the Oct. 8 meeting, Todd Hannah, a representative with Allied Design, and Chris Tyra from Midwest Construction Professionals, presented a number of proposals. This included: a third floor addition to the high school; a new bus garage or an auxiliary gymnasium behind the high school; a secure entrance and small addition to Craig Gerdes Gymnasium at the middle school and a secure entrance, expanded parking lot, up to nine new classrooms and a gym addition to Davenport Elementary.
“The addition that currently houses the library was originally designed to contain a third floor,” Hannah said.
He added the design will keep costs down for the addition overall.
