EUREKA - Local residents are being asked to fill out a water use survey to obtain information required by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) in reference to the cross-connection control program.

Local officials have authorized a mailing of notification cards to all users to fill out the survey with online access compliance information provided.

“The cost (for the service) was cheaper than if we had done it ourselves,” commented administrator Melissa Brown.

Residents who do not have Internet access or need help filling out the survey have been referred to a help line at Aqua Backflow, (847)742-2296.
