GOODFIELD - Geneva L. Scott, 88, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2018, at her home in Goodfield.

She was born March 22, 1930, in Lawrence County, Tenn., the daughter of Thomas Z. and Emma Thelma Sides Watson. She married Billie W. Scott Jr. on Dec. 24, 1947. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include one daughter, Brenda (Dave) Phillis, Goodfield; two sons, Tom (Christa) Scott, Surprise, Ariz., and Rick Scott, Security, Colo.; four grandchildren, Heather (Josh) Deterding,  Brad (fiancee Sammi Oleson) Scott, Levi Scott and Harley Scott; four stepgrandchildren, Jason (Eve) Malcolm, Matt Malcolm, Andrea (Gary) Fugitt and Jill (Justin) Smith; one great-granddaughter, Addyson Deterding; nine stepgreat-grandchildren, Derek Malcolm, Casey Malcolm, Corryne Bohlmann, Drew Bohlmann, Tucker Smith, Marley Smith, Domanic Fugitt, Cierra Fugitt and Braden Fugitt; one brother Clyde (Ruby) Watson, Leoma, Tenn., and many nieces,  nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death her parents, one brother, two sisters and one infant grandson.

Geneva worked for Admiral for three years and later with Nestle for 37 ½ years before she retired in 1995. She was a member of Good Hope Primitive Baptist Church, Leoma. Geneva enjoyed sewing, gardening, listening to gospel music, reading her Bible, collecting chickens/roosters, dolls and baskets. Her fondest pastime was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Geneva loved her family dearly. She was a devoted wife for almost 68 years, a great homemaker and a wonderful cook. Geneva was a faithful caregiver to her husband for nine years before his passing, as well as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. We deeply miss her. Geneva's legacy of faith, hope and love will live on through her family.

Services will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka with Randy Webb and Dan Aders officiating. Visitation will take place Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., both at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Goodfield Fire Department.
