FAIRBURY – Jerry Lee Kaisner, 64, died at 9:33 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 24, 2019, at his home in Fairbury surrounded by his family.
He was born Aug. 4, 1954, in Fairbury, the son of Merle W. and Gladys “Marge” Zimmerman Kaisner. He married Donna J. Schwind on June 10, 1978, in Roanoke. She survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Kati (Kevin) Meiss, Fairbury; three sons, Matthew (Jodi) Kaisner, Forrest and Neil (Kay) Kaisner and CJ (Allison) Kaisner both of Fairbury; 18 grandchildren; three sisters, Wanda (Alfred) Kuperschmid and Gwen Knapp and LeAnn Kaeb, both of Fairbury and two brothers, Robert (Cheryl) Kaisner and Don (Leona) Kaisner, both of Fairbury.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
Jerry was a mechanic and service manager at Kelly-Sauder-Rupiper, John Deere in Pontiac for 34 years. He was a member of the Fairbury Apostolic Christian Church, Fairbury.
Services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the church with ministers of the church officiating. Visitation will take place Monday from 2 to 8 p.m. at Duffy-Pils Memorial Home in Fairbury and Tuesday morning from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Fairview Haven Retirement Community or the South Eastern Livingston County Ambulance Service, both in Fairbury.
