MINONK – Shirley Boucher, 81, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2018, at her home in Minonk.
She was born in Carbondale, the daughter of Walter Alex and Lola Easter Saddler Wilson. She married William Boucher on June 15, 1954, in Carbondale. He survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Shirley Baker, Minonk and the Rev. Rita (Patrick) Lovell, Peoria Heights; three sons, William Boucher, Rockwood, Jeffery Boucher, Grand Tower and Walt (Sela) Boucher, Minonk; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and four sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, two brothers, two sisters and one grandson.
Shirley last worked as a cook at the Apostolic Christian Home of Roanoke for 10 years. She was an active member of the Sunnyland Church of the Nazarene, Sunnyland, for over 50 years.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial of cremains will be held at later date. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home, Minonk, is in charge of the arrangements.
