ROANOKE – Susan Blunier, 53, died Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018, at her home in Champaign.
She was born Feb. 23, 1965, in Fairbury, the daughter of Wayne H. and Marjorie A. Himstedt Blunier.
Survivors include her parents of Roanoke; two brothers, Mark (Cathy) Blunier, Washburn and Greg (Julie Ann) Blunier, Pekin; one sister, Linda (Chad) Kupferschmid, Mahomet; 11 nieces and nephews and one great- nephew.
Susan worked as an engineer with International Business Machines (IBM), AstraZeneca and the University of Illinois. She was a member and volunteer with Carle Auxiliary and a member of Windsor Road Christian Church, both in Champaign.
Services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Roanoke Apostolic Christian Church, rural Roanoke, with ministers of the church officiating. Visitation will take place Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at Knapp-Johnson-Harris Funeral Home, Roanoke, and Thursday morning from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the Roanoke AC Church. Burial will follow the service in the Roanoke AC Church cemetery.
