GOODFIELD – Thomas Miller, 72, died Friday, Jan. 25, 2019, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

He was born Oct. 25, 1946, the son of Jesse and Mary Albrecht Miller. He married Anita Vaughn on Oct. 22, 1967, in Danvers. She survives.

Other survivors include one son, Tim Miller, Goodfield; one daughter: Cheri (Roy) Armstrong, Roanoke; two granddaughters, Megan Armstrong and Emily Armstrong and one great-granddaughter, Hazel Doss.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Michael Miller, and one sister, Sue Kirsch.

Tom served in the Army during the Vietnam conflict. He worked for Caterpillar for 30 years before he retired in 2000.

Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at North Danvers Mennonite Church, rural Danvers, with the Rev. Brian Johnson officiating. Visitation will take place Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the church. Cremation rites will be accorded after the service. Argo-Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in Eureka is in charge of the arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the Children’s Hospital of Illinois or to the Congenital Heart Center at OSF Children’s Hospital.
