ROANOKE – Wanda E. Ladendorf, 99, died at 2:37 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019, at Snyder Village in Metamora.
She was born on June 25, 1920, in Benson, the daughter of John and Sena Woltzen Heineke. She married Arthur W. Ladendorf on July 29, 1940, in Benson. He died Oct. 2, 2004.
Survivors include two sons, Barry (Rhonda) Ladendorf, San Diego, Calif., and Greg (Melissa) Ladendorf, Pekin; one daughter, Debi (Ron) Gimbel, El Paso; 13 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, one sister, two brothers and one son-in-law.

Wanda was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Roanoke, where she was involved in the Altar & Rosary Society.
Services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at the church with the Rev. Eugene Radosevich officiating. Visitation will take place Tuesday morning from 9 to 9:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow the service in the Roanoke Township Cemetery in Roanoke. Knapp-Johnson-Harris Funeral Home, Roanoke, is in charge of the arrangements.
