Eureka outscored IW 26-10 in the second quarter and led 39-19 at halftime. Adam Anderson also scored in double figures with 13 points.
Kankakee Bishop McNamara 47, Fieldcrest 59: The Knights (11-3) outscored KBM 10 to four in the final period at the State Farm Holiday Classic Wednesday at the Shirk Center on the Illinois Wesleyan University campus in Bloomington. Derek May scored 18 points followed by Jaxon Cusac-McKay (12) and Hayden Carls (11).
Delavan 34, Roanoke-Benson 51: At Williamsville, the Rockets (11-4) jetted out to a 28-15 lead at the break on Wednesday. Jake Weber recorded 15 points, while Jordan Huschen added 10.
Illini Bluffs 61, Eureka 87: At Macomb, all-tourney choice Keegan Zimmerman poured in 34 points in Thursday night's quarterfinal. Also in double figures were Alex Britatin (16) and Brady Krile (13). The Hornets were ahead 26-8 after the first period.
Fieldcrest 41, Chicago Providence St. Mel 63: Derek May provided 13 points for Fieldcrest in a SFHC quarter Thursday evening at Normal West. Fieldcrest trailed 17-8 after one period.
Deer Creek-Mackinaw 49, R-B 48: Luke Braman's 14 points led the Rockets in Thursday's quarterfinal at Williamsville. Levi Scheuermann, who finished with 25 points, scored the go-head hoop for the Chiefs.
Fieldcrest 49, Rock Falls 55: Fieldcrest was outscored 13 to five in the third period of Friday's SFHC contest at Shirk. Jaxon Cusac-McKay and Derek May each had 16 points.
Prairie Central 42, R-B 60: The Rockets overcame an early deficit Friday at Williamsville. Brothers Jack and Jake Weber each had 12 points.
Fieldcrest 52, Rockford Lutheran 50: The Knights led 33-16 at halftime and held on Friday evening in the SFHC at Normal West. Jaxon Cusac-McKay (15), Derek May (14) and Hayden Carls (10) scored in double figures.
Camp Point Central 25, Eureka 43: A 19-point final quarter boosted the Hornets Saturday afternoon in a M-W semifinal at Western Hall. Brady Krile led with eight points.
R-B 40, Petersburg Porta 42: At Williamsville, R-B let a five-point lead in the deciding stanza slip away Saturday afternoon. Jake Weber scored 15 points.
Eureka 48, West Hancock 49: The Hornets trailed 36-30 going into the last eight minutes of Saturday night's M-W title game at Western Hall. Keegan Zimmerman pumped in 20 points.
Kewanee 42, Eureka 60; The Hornets (16-2) raced out a 23-10 first quarter lead Thursday at the Peru St. Bede Bruin Classic. Courtney Heffren netted 14 points, while Alison Nohl added a dozen.
PSB 42, Fieldcrest 27: The Knights (11-7) were limited to just four points in the opening frame on Thursday. Madi Hock scored a team-high 10 points.
Eureka 50, Putnam County 19: In a second Thursday contest, the Hornets shook off a slow start, as they scored a mere three points over the initial eight minutes. All-Classic selections Natalie Anderson (11) and Lauren Ausmus (10) were the leading scorers.
Fieldcrest 36, Princeton 33: Fieldcrest doubled up the Tigers 14 to seven over the final quarter Thursday evening. Hannah Baker tallied 12 points, while all-Classic pick Addie Goodrich added 11.
Mendota 40, Eureka 44: Eureka was staked out to an 18-8 lead after one quarter Friday in the Bruin Classic. All-Classic team member Courtney Heffren had 14 points, while Lauren Ausmus added 10.
Fieldcrest 19, Seneca 29: The Knights held down the Irish, but could not find any offense, other than Hannah Baker's 10 points, Friday at the Bruin Classic.
Fieldcrest 35, Putnam Co. 49: Fieldcrest was outscored 16 to two in the second quarter Saturday in the Bruin Classic. Addie Goodrich registered 12 points.
Seneca 33, Eureka 56: Eureka was on top 10-5 after eight minutes and gradually pulled away from the Irish in Saturday evening's championship tilt. Natalie Anderson had 13 points, while Courtney Heffren followed with 12.
