EUREKA - A 25-20, 25-20 sweep of Le Roy Thursday night extended Eureka's Heart of Illinois Conference win streak to 40 in a row.

Darby Leman was one of eight players to record a kill, as she managed a team-high six for the Hornets (5-3, 2-0). It also marked their first league match at home.

"It’s extremely important. Our conference plays at a high level. There’s not going to be an easy match. Hopefully, we can win at home and sneak in a road match,” said Eureka coach Lena Dohner.

Katie Cooper registered four kills for the Panthers, who dipped to 5-9 overall and 0-3 in the conference.
