Eureka 36, EP-G 45: Brayden Peiffer (106 pounds) won his Wednesday match via pinfall for the Hornets (6-6, 0-2) during a league dual.

BOYS' BASKETBALL

EP-G 57, Fieldcrest 59 (overtime): The Knights (13-5, 4-2) stormed back from a 37-23 deficit in the third quarter and forced an extra four minutes in Friday's HOIC tussle. Jaxon Cusac-McKay poured in a personal-high 28 points.

R-B 71, Midland 40: Luke Braman netted 17 points for the Rockets (13-5, 4-1) in conference action Friday evening.

Tremont 76, Fieldcrest 65: Hayden Carls led the league hosts with 17 points on Tuesday.

MISCELLANEOUS

Pacocha picks a school: Carolyn Pacocha of Eureka will play golf for National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) member Grace College in Winona Lake, Ind. She qualified for the state finals three times during her prep career, highlighted by a tie for sixth place this past October.
