PONTIAC — From 1967 through 1978, one of the great staples of American television was the Carol Burnett Show, the landmark sketch comedy/variety show.
Vermillion Players will present a collection of selected classic sketches from the show in a two-act production April 5-7 and again April 12-14 at the Eagle Performing Arts and Conference Center in Pontiac. There also will be several musical numbers.
The production will feature Meghan Briscoe, Meredith Feldman, Lisa Green, Alicia Prunty, Paul Brown, John R. Gahm, Ed Green, and Noah Welch. It will be directed by Tom Ramseyer and produced by John R Gahm and Lisa Green.
Tickets are $37 for adults and includes a buffet dinner catered by Bernardi's II and the show. Fridays and Saturdays are evening performances with doors opening at 6 p.m. and dinner service at 6:15. Sundays are matinees with doors opening at 12:30 p.m. and dinner service starting at 12:45. Dinner theater tickets must be purchased in advance.
There also will be two show-only performances: April 4 and April 11. Those tickets are $20 each and can be purchased online, over the phone, or at the door. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m., with the show beginning at 7 pm. those nights.

Vermillion Players also has announced its 2019 Summer-in-the-Park Season:
