PEORIA -- The path over the rainbow has just gotten a little closer: the first ticket sales information for the national tour of "Wicked" coming to Peoria this fall has been released, along with times and dates for all performances.

Beginning 10 a.m. June 6, seats for the show's record-setting three-week October stand at the Peoria Civic Center will be available to patrons willing to subscribe to the venue's 2011-12 Broadway Theatre Series.

Single admission ticket sales "haven't been decided yet," said Civic Center spokeswoman Allyson Peffer, "but it will be very soon."

She estimated it would be "later in the summer, after the season ticket sales have been completed."

The Broadway series comprises a total of five national touring shows, which, in addition to "Wicked" Oct. 12 through 30, includes:

• The first Central Illinois performances for Mel Brooks' musical redo of "Young Frankenstein," 3 and 8 p.m. Nov. 12.

• The Tony-nominated arena-rock love story "Rock of Ages," 7:30 p.m. Jan. 17 and 18.

• The Tony-winning 2008 revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein's "South Pacific," 7:30 p.m. Feb. 28 and 29.

• The first Central Illinois performances for "Shrek The Musical," 7:30 p.m. April 24 and 25.

In addition to the five shows, a non-series "extra" is available to season ticketholders, "The Rat Pack Is Back," a recreation of the infamous Vegas troupe, at 7:30 p.m. May 2.

Adult season tickets for the series are $181 to $371, and will be available June 6 via the Civic Center box office or by calling 309-673-3200.

Following is the entire three-week schedule of "Wicked" performances: 7:30 p.m. Oct. 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, 27; 2 p.m. Oct. 13, 15, 22, 29; 8 p.m. Oct. 14, 15, 21, 22, 28, 29; 1 p.m. Oct. 16, 23, 30; and 6:30 p.m. Oct. 16, 23 and 30.
