Ringo Starr and his All-Starr band will hit Champaign's State Farm Center at 7 p.m. Aug. 20 as part of the band's 30th anniversary celebration. 

In shows this week at Bloomington's Castle Theatre: the Eli Young Band plays tonight at 8 o'clock. Tickets are $22.50. Herobust plays at 9 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 16. Tickets are $22 and $15. Space Laces and Sub Docta perform at the venue on Saturday, Aug. 17. Tickets for the 9 p.m. show are $22 and $15. Tickets are available at www.thecastletheatre.com.

Legendary former Beatle Ringo Starr and His All-Starr Band perform on Tuesday, Aug. 20, at Champaign's State Farm Center. The 79-year-old has been touring with an assortment of musicians since premiering the concept 30 years ago. This year's All-Starrs include Toto's Steve Lukather, Santana's Gregg Rolie, and Men at Work's Colin Hay. Tickets for the 7 p.m. show range in price from $50.50 to $145.50. The Happy Together Tour lands at the Peoria Civic Center at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 18. Bands on the 2019 schedule include The Turtles, Chuck Negron (formerly of Three Dog Night), Gary Puckett and The Union Gap, The Buckinghams, The Classics IV and The Cowsills. Tickets are $59, $49 and $39. Tickets are available at the box office and via Ticketmaster.
