BLOOMINGTON – The second Sixty Six Games Expo presented by State Farm will take place Jan. 17-19 at Grossinger Motors Arena.

The event is owned and operated by the Bloomington-Normal Sports Commission.

“The additions of the convention and clinic will take the expo to the next level and further establish its reputation in the region’s gaming industry,” said Bloomington-Normal Sports Commission Sports Director Matt Hawkins.

The expo will be Central Illinois’ first sanctioned League of Legends tournament, which will feature a 32-team open tournament and a 16-team high school only tournament.

The Bloomington-Normal Video Game Convention will add a retro gaming lounge, cosplay contest, and vintage game vendors.

An e-sports clinic will help guide high schools interested in adding an e-sports program and will further educate schools that already have programs.

Tickets can be purchased at the Subaru Box Office at Grossinger Motors Arena or Ticketmaster.com
