BLOOMINGTON — The arrival of warmer weather makes the timing of this weekend's opening of Twin City public swimming pools just about perfect.
In Bloomington, O’Neil Pool will be open from Saturday through Aug. 12; it is located in O’Neil Park at 1515 W. Chestnut St.
Holiday Pool will be open from Saturday through Sept. 3; it is located in Holiday Park at 800 S. McGregor St.
In Normal, Fairview Family Aquatic Center will be open from Saturday through Sept. 3; it is located in Fairview Park at 801 N. Main St.
Anderson Aquatic Center will be open from June 2 to Aug. 12; it is located in Anderson Park at 100 S. Maple St.
Summer pool passes in Bloomington are good at both pools and are available for $29. Summer passes in Normal are good at both aquatic centers and are available for $45.
Lap swimming will be available at both pools with O’Neil pool dedicating two lanes for lap swimming during open swim hours.
