BLOOMINGTON — Ada Marie Oesch Peasley of Stuart, Iowa, formerly of Bloomington, will celebrate her 90th birthday Jan. 27 with a card shower and celebration.
She was born Jan. 25, 1928, in Bloomington. She married Clarence Edward Peasley on Feb. 28, 1946. He passed away Sept. 26, 1995. Her siblings are her twin sister, Alpha J. Sweeney, and Ida Meihsner and Dorthy Neal, all of Bloomington.
Her children are Sharrie (Gene) Orendorff , Flanagan; Clarence Edward Jr., deceased; Virginia (Ernie) Joy, Humeston, Iowa; David (Margene), Rock Rapids, Iowa; Melody (Daniel) Neskas, St. Ann, Mo.; Lyle (Patty), Stuart, Iowa; Louis (Julie), Springfield, Va.; Daniel (Shirley), Allerton, Iowa; Fred, Adair, Iowa; and Steven (Emily), Slater, Iowa. She has 18 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She was a homemaker. She loves to learn new things and read, especially mysteries. She watches Perry Mason faithfully and enjoys activities at the care center. She especially enjoys time with her family.
She was unable to graduate with her 1946 class at Bloomington High School but did graduate from BHS with the Class of 2004.
