Crime Stoppers: Cops seek man on theft charges

BLOOMINGTON - Police are seeking the public's help in finding a 31-year-old man accused of stealing money from an employer on two separate occasions in Bloomington.

Jason M. Johnson, whose last known address is in Bloomington, is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 175 pounds. He has red hair and hazel eyes. He is named on a warrant charging him with theft.

Crime Stoppers will pay cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and indictment of people who commit felony crimes in McLean County. Callers should use the hotline number, (309) 828-1111.

Update: Charles Smith, who was previously profiled on charges of predatory criminal sexual abuse, has been arrested in California. Jeffrey Jones, who was previously profiled on accusations of possession of a controlled substance, has been arrested by Bloomington Police.
