In court

Theft - A Bloomington man is accused of stealing cologne from a Normal department store.

Lamar L. Wilson, 46, was in jail in lieu of $500 on a charge of retail theft. A court file said the charge was a felony because of a conviction for retail theft in a 1994 case.

The file also listed him as both homeless and as a resident in the 400 block of Parkland Drive.

Obstructing justice - A 48-year-old man is accused of giving a false name and date of birth to a police officer to avoid arrest on a charge of driving on a suspended license.

Gary M. Johansen, of the 700 block of IAA Drive in Bloomington, was released on a personal recognizance bond on a charge of obstructing justice.

Home invasion - A Bloomington man is accused of entering a woman's home and striking a man in the head with a beer bottle.

James L. Dickson, 28, of the 200 block of South Prospect Road, was in jail in lieu of $4,000 on charges of home invasion and aggravated battery.

McLean County DUIs

Because of incorrect information given out by state officials, the amount needed to open all Illinois historic sites seven days a week, year-round, is not $503,000 as reported in a story in Saturday's Pantagraph. The actual amount is not available.
