McLean County Coroner Beth Kimmerling said Sunday that the body of the man found Saturday morning in a ravine west of Veterans Parkway was Robert W. Morgan, last of the 1400 block of East College Avenue, Normal.

Morgan, 52, was pronounced dead at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the scene near the intersection of Morris Avenue and Springfield Road. His body was found trapped under brush and trees.

An autopsy was performed Sunday, but Kimmerling said the immediate cause of Morgan's death is still under investigation. Kimmerling ruled out the possibility of foul play.

Kimmerling also released her preliminary autopsy findings on Jenny Sue Maurer, 22, of Bloomington, who died as a result of multiple internal blunt force injuries suffered in an automobile accident on southbound Interstate 55 on Friday night.
