PALM COAST, Fla. — Lori Anne Sullivan, 57, of Palm Coast, Fla., passed away Thursday (April 11, 2019) at UChicago Medicine.
Lori was born April 28, 1961, in Dubuque, Iowa, to John L Sullivan (deceased) and Diane Sullivan. She graduated from Normal Community High School, and she continued her education at Illinois State University in Normal.
All knew Lori's passion was her family. Lori had a big heart, and many were enriched with her love. She was a wonderful wife to the love of her life, husband Frank Petruno.
Lori loved her children, Paige (Alvaro) De la Cruz, Robert (Miranda) Pedrigi, Marissa Petruno and Kaitlyn Petruno. She was a proud Nana to Magdalena, Madison and Sweet P. Lori cherished her brothers and sister, John L. Sullivan, Daniel (Brenda) Sullivan and Lynn Spotts.
Lori impacted many people throughout her life, professionally and personally. Her enthusiasm for creating memories around the kitchen table, golf course (only 12 holes!) or around the Christmas tree will be treasured. Lori's daily message: “Don't worry. Be happy!” will be remembered always.
Lori's immediate family, William Welch, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends will live in honor of Lori by spreading love and kindness; just as Lori did.
Lori's family, friends and precious dog, Bella, will celebrate her life at a later date in Palm Coast, Fla.
Condolences can be sent to the Sullivans at 14 Treyburn Court, Bloomington, IL 61704.
